about

DON'T FAIL TO LISTEN TO RED FORMAN's half of the split, on redforman.bandcamp.com.

We had so much fun touring with Red Forman last spring we decided we should do a collaborative split EP where each band guests on the other's tracks. Nearly a year later, this has finally happened!

Glass Eye features Dylan Campbell on acoustic guitar and vocals, while Secrete a Matrix includes Oliver Campbell's inimitable screams.

The Red Forman tracks were recorded by Aaron Clark. Jelly Leg includes backing vocals from Aaron Clark and Ben Spees.

Track Name: Glass Eye
Leave your clothes by the door, Ophelia
You don't need to go
I'm alone
and I need you to know

Lie... like...
Lie... like...

Like the pain
Like the pain in your glass eye
Like the pain
Like the pain in your glass eye
Rolling backwards in denial
Try, try
Try, try with all your might

Watch the flight
Watch the flight of a million starlings
Darting into a windowpane
So freshly killed, their hearts are still quivering
Track Name: Secrete a Matrix
You can come back
I was wrong about you
Form the words
It's not enough to make them true

Secrete a matrix of
protective substances
Secrete a matrix of
protective substances
Layers you use
to spin your cold cocoon

Second skin the safest place
Outer wall to inner space

Roll the stone back
Till it crashes down atop
Lift aloft the crushing weight that never drops

Secrete a matrix of
protective substances
Secrete a matrix of
protective substances
Layers you use
to spin your cold cocoon

Second skin the safest place
Outer wall to inner space

Form the words to make them, make them true
Time to spend to spin the shape of the cocoon.
You can't come back because I was, I was, I was right.
Outer wall to inner space, safest place.
I was, I was, I was, I was right, right? I was right.
I was, I was, I was, I was right, right? I was right.
